I've had two WordPress blogs hacked into formerly. That was in a time when I was doing virtually no internet advertising, and until I found time to deal with the situation (weeks later), these sites were penalized in the main search engines. They were not eliminated the ratings were reduced.



I back up my blogs regularly using a free plugin WP DB Backup. I will restore my blog to the last 13, if anything happens.
